It was a tough decision to make, but now with RST around as his own personal soundboard, he decided to step up to the challenge to become the co-founder of Nyummm Magazine Ltd.

He knows the road is treacherous. Startups, as he has witnessed, are perhaps the hardest things to break free. But by partnering up with elfie, he knows things will be alright. She has an enormous support structure that climbs mountains and spans the seas…so he has every confidence that things will be alright.

Panda woke up this morning to find RST sitting alone outside, upset. The detachment from his neck made it possible for him now to finally see her as her own being. And then it hit him like a brick thrown to his face!

He realized that he had been so consumed by the search for Hawaii and everything else going on around him, that he forgot to notice how important she was to his existence and to his state of being. Without her, he was nothing. He was just Panda. No Red Scarf Thing. She made him what he was. So he sat by her as she wept, to reflect.

She told him how much she felt ignored. She was important to him. He needed her around. A surge of guilt filled him, but he knew what he had to do.

As he reached out his hand, he promised her that he would never take her for granted again. Then asked her to kindly stay by his side as his sidekick to continue the journey. Together.

In the peak of summer, it is not uncommon to find kitty cats laying about, basking under the sun. Panda took Red Scarf Thing to visit an old pal of his; Elliot. And they laid together for a while. Panda’s head held snugly in Elliot’s arms. It was like something out of the movies. (All together now: aaawwwwww…)

It’s taken some time for Panda to get used to the amputation. Maybe it was his tears, or maybe it was something else, but somehow the scarf miraculously developed a personality of its own! So Panda, together with his new Red Scarf Thing sidekick, went to the park with elfie today to enjoy a much needed meeting with mrSunshine while laying on the grass.

Happiness abound.
