A wrong step could send Panda and Red Scarf Thing sliding down the side of the mountain, plummeting to their death. The thought had overwhelmed Red Scarf, leaving Panda to drag his shivering sidekick along, as she stared down the side of the cliff in fear.

Panda had once heard that if he worked hard enough in his life, there would be fruit at the end as a reward. Or something to that effect. He never quite understood what that meant. But on his way up the mountain, he came across some berries about the size of his ears! Too bad he wasn’t hungry…
